We are excited to share that Forest Lakes will soon begin welcoming the community's first residents. And, the timing couldn't be better! Our development team has been hard at work laying the ground work for Waterfront Park and building the community amphitheater. Residents of Forest Lakes will enjoy stunning views of the national forest, Bristlecone Lake and the city lights from the new park and amphitheater.
Throughout history, amphitheaters have been gathering places for sporting events, performances and many other forms of entertainment. Ancient Roman amphitheaters were oval or circular in plan and included seating in tiers surrounding performance areas, much like an open-air stadium. Modern day amphitheaters are most commonly used for outdoor concerts, wedding settings, and casual gatherings. Waterfront Park is approximately 4-5 acres, with a play area of roughly 58' x 35'. The Amphitheater at Forest Lakes is a 36' octangular amenity situated along Forest Lakes Drive. When complete, it will seat nearly 120 people.
We look forward to sharing the progress of the spectacular amenities coming to Forest Lakes. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please follow the progress on our Facebook Page or drop us an email at info@forestlakescolorado.com.
